Kowa TP-105FT protective filter

Compatible product: Kowa TSN-99 PROMINAR The Kowa TP-105FT filter helps to protect the pure fluorite crystal objective lenses of the Kowa TSN-99 PROMINAR. Featuring oil and water repellent coatings - it makes the perfect accessory for any owner of these premium optics. Harsh environments such as sand and salt at the coast,an accidental fall from a tripod or contact with a sharp object can all damage the most sensitive and valuable area of a spotting scope - the objective lens, often causing irreparable damage to the coatings and the actual lens itself. Damage to the front objective lens can drastically reduce the optical performance of your scope and is one of the most costly repairs to rectify, especially if you own a Kowa pure fluorite crystal model. Often the only option is to completely replace the front objective lens at great cost. This type of damage is not covered by the manufacturerswarranty meaning a possible expensive and lengthy repair. Kowa recommends the use of a protective filter to protect a Kowa spotting scope. All Kowa spotting scopes are conveniently fitted with a filter ring* (a feature often not included in other manufacturers models) allowing the connection of a filter. This accessory will help drastically reduce the risk of objective lens damage, avoid costly repairs and ultimately prolong the life and enjoyment of your spotting scope.

The Kowa TSN-PA7A DSLR digiscoping adapter transforms your KOWA TSN 99/88/66 series scope into an extremely high powered telephoto lens for you D-SLR, or Mirrorless/MFT camera. Allowing you to not only experience stunningly sharp views of the world around you, but also take highly magnified, detailed and vibrant photographs and videos with your D-SLR camera. In contrast to conventional digiscoping, where the image produced by the spotting scope eyepiece is photographed. the TSN-PA7A connects your camera body directly to the body of the scope via a T2 mount. TSN-DA10 Digiscoping Adapter for TSN-99/88/66/55

The Kowa TSN-DA10 is perfectly suited to the compact and lightweight Micro Four Thirds camera or mirroless system bodies and compact lenses up to 25mm focal length (MFT) or 50mm (full frame). Use with our flagship 99/88/66 series spotting scopes combined with a Kowa TE-11WZ TE-80XW or TE-10Z eyepiece. Kowa believe digiscoping should be easy and affordable – The TSN-DA10 ticks both boxes. Set-up takes less than a minute. Simply unscrew the eyepiece eye-relief cap and screw on the DA10 collar in its place. Screw the DA10 adapter to your MFT lens filter thread. Simply add one of our adapter rings (sold separately) depending on the filter size of your lens. Sizes available: AR28/30/30.5/37/43/46/52/55/58/62/72mm these adapter rings fit between your lens and the DA10. Finally push the connected DA10 and camera body combination over the collar and secure.
